One of our favorite events each year occurs in a small reconstructed 19th century village in
Cape May, New Jersey. Cold Spring Village is a collection of old houses and buildings
from around Cape May County NJ which have been disassembled and moved to form a
historic village of shops, farm buildings and homes where tourists can revisit life in the 19th
century rural America. This year our adventure began with a 69th Pa banquet at the
"Grange Hall" and continued with village battles. Over 30 members attended the weekend
activities teaching about the Civil War and recreating Civil War life.
