A small group of 69th volunteers attended the 2017 Hay Creek Festival in Berks
County near Morgantown Pa. The annual event offers early American Craft
Demonstrations with hands-on activities, Creekside Crafts and Antiques,
Engines, Tractors, Antique Cars, Musical Entertainment, Homemade and
Open Fire Cooked Foods, Civil War Encampments AND tours of the Historic
Joanna Furnace Iron Works. The 69th attendees were small in number but the
public response to the 69th camp was excellent - great sales of tee shirts and
numerous tours of the 69th camp. This event was well attended by the public.
