Lt. Colonel Dennis Heenan Dedication
  The 69th Pa was asked by the descendants of Lt. Colonel Dennis Heenan (24th Pa)
  to serve as "Honor Guard" at the dedication of his new monument at Cathedral
  Cemetery in West Philadelphia. Dennis Heenan went on during the war to serve
  as Colonel of the 116th Pa (another Irish regiment) The ceremony was attended
  by a large number of members of the 69th as well as many Hennan descendants.
               It was followed by a reception featuring food, drink & music.
