  Braving record breaking heat and humidity a small but hardy band of 69th Pa
   members did battle with rebel troops at the 150th anniversary of the
                          Battle of First Manassas in Virginia
Artillery began each battle as thousands
of spectators watched the armies
advance.
Going into battle without their jackets and wearing havelock caps
the men of the 69th captured a tree line from the rebels
